This Privacy Policy explains what information Kidzamania.com collects, how we use it, when we share it and the choices you have. Kidzamania is an online directory that helps families discover activities offered by independent providers.

1. Information you give us

Depending on how you use Kidzamania, you may give us information such as:

• Provider account information: company or provider name, sign-in email, password information stored in protected hashed form, account status and email-verification information.
• Provider Profile information: business description, public contact email, phone number, website, social-media links, logo or provider photo.
• Activity information: titles, descriptions, categories, ages, locations, schedules, prices, registration links, photos and other listing details.
• Communications: information you send when you contact Kidzamania for help or communicate with us about your account or listings.
• Email preferences: whether you choose to receive Kidzamania marketing, news and promotional communications.

2. Public information

Provider Profiles and published activity listings are designed to be public. Information that a provider chooses to publish may be visible to anyone, shared through Kidzamania, and indexed by search engines. This can include provider names, public contact information, descriptions, websites, social links, activity details and images.

Your provider sign-in email is treated as private account information unless you separately choose to use the same address as your public contact email.

3. Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, our servers and service providers may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device or operating-system information, pages visited, referring pages, date and time information, and security or diagnostic logs.

We use cookies and similar technologies for functions such as sign-in sessions, security and site preferences. We also use analytics and advertising services as described below.

4. Advertising, analytics and cookies

Kidzamania may use Google services, including Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site and Google AdSense to display advertising.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may place or read cookies on your browser, use web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers, and receive information such as the page you visit, your IP address, browser or device information, and information about how you interact with advertisements. Google uses this information to provide, measure, protect and improve its services and advertising.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to Kidzamania or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads that may be personalized based on visits to Kidzamania and other sites, where permitted by applicable law and your settings or consent.

You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can also learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use Google services.

Where required by applicable law, we may ask for consent before using certain advertising cookies or personalized advertising. You may still see non-personalized or contextual advertising when personalization is unavailable or disabled.

5. How we use information

We may use information to:

• create, verify and maintain provider accounts;
• allow providers to create and manage listings;
• review, publish, return, archive or otherwise administer activity listings;
• display public Provider Profile and activity information;
• send password resets, verification emails, listing-status notices and other account or service communications;
• respond to questions and provide support;
• protect the Site, investigate misuse and maintain security;
• understand and improve the Site and its features;
• comply with legal obligations and protect our rights; and
• send marketing communications when you have chosen to receive them or when otherwise permitted by applicable law.

6. Transactional and marketing emails

Account and service emails are different from marketing emails.

Account and service emails may include email verification, password resets, listing-review updates, publication notices, important account notices and other messages needed to provide the service. You may continue to receive these while you have an active account.

Marketing emails may include occasional Kidzamania news, provider tips, new services or features, events and promotional opportunities. Marketing preference is optional. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time without affecting necessary account or service messages.

7. How we share information

We may share information only as reasonably necessary for the following purposes:

• Service providers: companies that help us host the Site, databases, email, security, analytics, storage or other technical services.
• Legal and safety reasons: when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, security or prevent fraud or abuse.
• Business changes: if Kidzamania is involved in a merger, sale, financing, reorganization or transfer of all or part of the business, information may be transferred as part of that process.
• With your direction: when you ask us to share information or make information public through your Provider Profile or listings.

We do not currently sell or rent provider contact information. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notice, consent or opt-out choices required by applicable law.

8. Independent provider websites

Kidzamania listings may send you to a provider’s website or another third-party registration service. Information you give directly to that provider or service is handled under that party’s own privacy policy, not this Privacy Policy.

Kidzamania does not currently process activity registrations or payments, so payment-card information provided directly to a provider or third-party registration service is not collected by Kidzamania as part of that transaction.

9. Information about children

Kidzamania is designed for adults, including parents, guardians and activity providers, who use the Site to find or publish children’s activities. The Site is not intended as an account or social service for children. We do not knowingly offer provider accounts to children or knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through provider registration.

Providers are responsible for obtaining any permission required before uploading photographs, names or other content involving children or other individuals.

10. Data retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the Site, maintain accounts and listings, meet legal or security requirements, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Some records may be kept after an account or listing is no longer active when required for legitimate business, legal, security or recordkeeping reasons.

Short-lived information such as verification or password-reset tokens may be retained for much shorter periods.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No website, server, email system or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

12. Your choices

Providers can update much of their public business and activity information through their Kidzamania account. You may also contact us to ask about correcting or deleting personal information, subject to legal, security and record-retention requirements.

You can change your marketing-email preference in your Provider Profile and can unsubscribe from marketing communications. Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide additional rights.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Kidzamania changes. We will post the revised version here and update the “Last updated” date. If a change is important to provider accounts or how we use personal information, we may also provide additional notice.
