About This Activity
Individual and duo music lessons via Zoom and in your home. In duo lessons you split the price per student in half! We work with fundamentals in piano, solfege, rhythmic training and creative exploration. Lessons are designed to accommodate each learning style and interest. Differently abled students are welcome. Younger students spend more time doing action singing and clapping, gradually spending more time at the piano or keyboard. We work with both ear training and reading to get a solid foundation that will help students learn any instrument or voice. We work with solfege and reciting rhythms as a way to achieve higher levels of proficiency quicker than early piano books offer. Classical, jazz and popular music styles may be part of the training. Extra video tutorials, Youtube examples and mid-week check ups are available as needed.

2129617839I am a musician and artist. My teaching profession began in 1984. I have taught private piano and voice, solfege and ear training, music and movement, improvisation and composition. I worked at New England Conservatory Prep Department, Montessori School and numerous community schools in New York and have taught privately throughout my career. I recently moved to Westchester from Brooklyn. I currently teach via Zoom and in-person. Lessons are individual and duo in piano, solfege, composition and improvisation for all ages and levels of experience. I work with differently abled students. I do coaching as well for auditions, concerts, college prep. Periodically I do special workshops and intensives on accessing creativity for adults as well as music theory games and creative exploration for young children, tweens and teens. I am fully vaccinated.
