About This Activity
Interested in learning how to take amazing pictures? I offer several photography classes through Outschool.com for many ages and skill levels. I am a certified, background checked teacher with over 20 years of experience. My classes are fun and interactive and get kids outside and noticing the world around them. We learn how to give and receive feedback on our photos and how to "see" what works in a photo and what doesn't. Sound like fun? Come join me!

5597972027I have been teaching in the classroom for the past 20 years. I've taught Kindergarten, First Grade, and Third Grade and I have been a substitute teacher for grades pre-k through 6th. I am a California native but have just begun the adventure of moving to Georgia with my husband and my 13 year old son. I've decided to retire from full time teaching but I still have a lot of love to give to students! That's where you come in!
I've chosen to focus on teaching one of the things I love to do the most: photography! I received my certificate of completion in 2002 from the New York Institute of Photography. I have since done many online courses to further my skills. I'm also a member of a local photography club that I utilize to keep my skills sharp. I have participated in several photography contests and have won a few of them! I have also had my photos publicly displayed. I love capturing moments in time with photography and being able to tell a story with a picture.
I have two dogs. I love reading and writing and exploring my beautiful new state of Georgia! I like to run and spend time with my family.
