During this class your child will practice the Italian language through art projects on Italian geography.

Children will learn about Italy and all of its 20 beautiful regions through arts and crafts. From the Dolomites to Mt. Etna, children can draw and make art projects of each of Italy’s most important and impressive natural and historical sites. By using hands-on techniques, kids will learn vocabulary and Italian culture in a fun and engaging way.

Our art and geography class will require the use of natural materials such as various kinds of spices and herbs. You can also purchase our creativity box which contains all of the material necessary for the classes. We are able to mail it to you for $49. The box must be purchased at least 7 days before the event, otherwise please have the following materials ready: Paper, cardboard, glue, scissors, pencils, paper, erasers, acrylic paint and/or watercolors, spices and cooking herbs.

All levels welcome. Instruction will be given in English when needed

Our Italian language teaching method is anchored in the Common European Framework of Reference and is driven by a didactic method that is the result of a decade of experience in the field. Our children’s program is designed to actively involve our little students. We use a wide variety of learning tools to ensure the children have fun while learning. They will work in a group and we will keep track of their experiences through three important approaches: Discovery, Creativity, Body.

They are encouraged to experience the language through a wide range of fun activities to help them start speaking Italian in a very natural way. But still focusing on grammar, to help them become more familiar with it and later on, being able to apply it. Each group class has no more 7 students to make sure each one gets the needed attention.
