About This Activity
For Teens 9-12 yrs
Drawing forms the foundation for all of visual arts and is essential before moving on to Painting. In this beginner Drawing course, teens study best practices and classical drawing exercises and techniques to develop ability. Learn how to achieve accurate proportion & linear perspective, shading and values, develop an eye for line and form and the essentials of drawing ellipses, drawing a cylinder, hemispheres & how to employ horizontal lines & vanishing points for perspective. This is an excellent course for teens interested in art and essential for those going toward a visual arts career. Drawing takes enormous practice. Return Students are very much encouraged and welcomed.
Time: Mondays 4:15pm-6:15pm
